Luna Tech 3D First Google Trusted Photographers in MI, Google Street View is Now for Business Interiors

For more info call Karen Shelters-810-632-5924

Livonia, MI--April 11, 2012-- Familiar with Google Street View? The technology that allows users to virtually walk the streets and tour the world in full panoramic 360 degree views? Now Michigan businesses can utilize that technology and take users off the street and right through their front door to show off their business interiors. Luna Tech 3D, a Livonia based company, has just become the first group of Google Trusted Photographers in Michigan. They are authorized by Google to submit 360 degree panoramic spin tours directly to the Google Places Page of any business.

Any time a user does a local business search using Google, the information that is indexed is pulled from Google's massive business directory called Google Places. Google now allows businesses to promote their business interiors directly through their Google Places page. Users can click on the animated images on a Places Page and be taken on a self-guided walking tour of businesses that have signed up for the service.

"It's a huge marketing advantage for businesses and a perfect complement to the 3D models we build for them on Google Earth," said Willett.

The new spin tour technology is not limited to Google Places. Businesses can also embed these virtual tours directly on their website.

Currently, the only way to get a 360 spin tour integrated into user's Places Page is to hire a Google Trusted Photographer. Luna Tech 3D and strategic partner, Jill Andra Young Photography in Plymouth, are the only ones certified in Michigan to offer this service. Luna Tech also boasts two of the 12 Google Certified Geo 3D Developers in the country.

"Our company integrates the technology pieces together so they work in tandem to promote our clients as effectively as possible through Google's stable of marketing tools," Willett said. "Everything we do is the foundation for what will become the norm in online searches."

For more information about Luna Tech 3D and how to utilize this service, visit www.lunatech3d.com or call 734-260-1069.

  2. What happened to Pogo. It's no longer a skate shop it's over priced shirts and shoes. I've been skating for the past 30+ yrs. my kids are all skaters. We wnt in Friday night Sept. 27, 2013 after dinner to get my son a new board and also needed two pickup 2 Gift card for nephew. We make are way back to the few boards they have in the store, my son picks up a board, knock off of a Penny board, sets in on the floor and steps on it. A sales guy standing in the back of the store who was staring at the basketball game on the tv says. Don't stand on the board unless your going to buy it, We don't want it stuffed up. I had to take a double take and asked him what he just said. He repeated what he said to my son, never looking down at me, he just starred up at the tv. I thought at first he was joking, no he then said that's are policy. So my son puts the board back and a lady walked hack to us from the front of the store. She asked me what was going on as my son and daughter said to me, let's get out f this store. I explained to her what he said, then I asked her if the store was under new ownership. She said four years ago the store was bought by new owners.
I don't know if that's true, new owners, but I can tell you that for as many years I've gone to Pogo and having worked with the sister of the two brothers who started Pogo, I was and am shocked with our visit to the store. I didn't want to make a stink with my kids there but, I also will never go back. I've always believed in supporting local stores, and am teaching my kids the same belief, but My personal opinion is if your looking for higher priced, trendy, shirts and shoes and ball caps, go there, but if your into skating, and looking for a staff that actually skates, go elsewhere.

Sad to see Pogo this way, I guess trendy shirts, shoes and caps are what pays their bill, sad skating is no longer there focus.

As we walked out she said, sorry we can't help you.
